May 15, 2025 - Believe the Truth

One of the things which we come to see as we grow older is we are the people who decide what we believe. While parents, grandparents, teachers, church leaders, group leaders, friends, and even people we do not know all have the potential to influence what we believe, we are the ones who actually decide what we believe, so it matters for us to be thoughtful when it comes to our core beliefs.

Today I want to talk about one "core" belief - which is, you matter. I say this every day, you matter. I talk about it often. There is a reason for this - it is because it absolutely matters for you to believe you matter. The value we put on ourselves impacts every other thing we think and do in our lives. If we truly value ourselves, we will have a firm foundation upon which we are able to build our life. If we truly value ourselves, we will be able to say "no" to things which harm us - now and in the future. If we truly value ourselves, we will be able to accept and give love from and to others. If we truly value ourselves, we are able to make changes we need to make when we make the wrong choice and give ourselves grace so we are able to move forward.

Oh yes, it absolutely matters for you to believe, you matter, because in addition to the things I've just mentioned, when you believe you matter, you will be able to be more creative, productive, happy, and content with your life!

Well, this video today is short, but it is filled with truth - you matter. Please believe this. Please hold tightly to this truth, because you absolutely do matter, you make our world a better place, and we need you in this world!
