February 17, 2025 - Start the Week with Love

In far, far too many cases those who are left out, bullied, deal with physical/mental challenges, and/or are part of the queer community live their lives on the receiving end of unkind, even vile words and often feel unloved. Well, today I want to take time to let you know how dearly you are loved and encourage you once again to surround yourself with people who see your value and who stand with you.

As I say every day I hope you have people in your life who tell and show you how dearly you are loved, and who stand up for you. I hope you have parents, grandparents, extended family, and friends who make sure you know how incredible you are and how much they love you. I hope you have support groups where you are able to build strong friendships and be a strong friend to others as well. If you do not, please, please make time today to find a group where you will be able to make friends and be a friend. In my video/post from February 5th you will find a list of groups where you are able to connect with others.

There are far too many people in our world who may cause you to fear or feel "less than", but I want you to know there are also many people who will love you and stand up for and with you. It is too easy to hear the horrible things evil people say and begin to think they may be right, but the truth is you matter. You deserve to be loved, and you are loved. I love you. Others love you, too. Choose to listen to the people who love you and see yourself for the amazing person you are. Choose to believe the truth - you are loved! I will say this again - choose to believe the truth - you are loved!

I wish I knew you in person - I'd be so honored to give you a hug in person, but today I am able to send you my virtual "hug" - You matter. You deserve to be loved and are loved - I love you! You make our world a better place - we need you in this world. I hope you have people around you who tell you these things, but if not, please let me be someone who does. Yes, I say this every day, but these words are true and will always be so. You will find the video at this link.

I have talked about finding strength by spending time in nature, and since Summer is nearly upon us and the weather is finally getting war...
