February 21, 2025 - It is Almost Spring!

I don't know about you, but I'm really looking forward to Spring, and happily, it is not far away! This past Monday morning it was -5 degrees where I live, and was even colder with the wind chill. Oh yes, I am most definitely looking forward to Spring - here are a few reasons why -

• It will be warmer! Oh yes, it will be warmer for sure and I am most certainly looking forward to warmer weather!
• The trees will get new leaves, flowers will bloom, and the outside will look SO beautiful!
• More birds will be flying around outside. The other day there were dozens of Robins in my yard - for anyone who lives in Michigan, we know the return of Robins means Spring is not far away! The photo on this post is of my cat, Candy, watching all the Robins flying around in HER yard - she had an opinion about there being so many birds outside the window!
• It reminds me of rebirth, new starts, and makes me think of happy times!
• I'll be able to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather, the blooming flowers, and all the other signs of Spring - and we know spending time in Nature is a way to strengthen ourselves, find peace, and joy!

These are just a few of the reasons I am looking forward to the arrival of Spring. So, today I want to say, warmer, more beautiful and joyful days are not far away - I hope you will be able to find opportunities to enjoy Spring when it arrives wherever you live! Happy Almost Spring!
