March 17, 2025 - "The More That You Read, the More Things You Will Know . . ."

The Dr. Seuss Quote for today is, "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go!" Since I love books and reading, this is a quote with which I can most certainly agree! It is not only important, it is vital for us to read and learn so we will know the things we need to know, so today I want to share some links to sites where you will find information which will help you know what you need to know . . . 

• The Universal Declaration of Human Rights which was signed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris, France on December 10th 1948 and which is a defining document in history as it outlines 30 articles affirming individual rights. • Yes, most of the executive orders from the current resident of the White House are alarming, but please check the facts - you will find information at this link and this link. Know you are NOT alone. There are people who are advocating for you! There are people who love you!

• Especially if you are Trans, facts and the truth matter, whether there are people who bother to learn about them, or not. You will find information about the biology of being Trans at the following link. 

So, once again I want to send you my virtual "hug" for today - You matter. You deserve to be loved and are loved - I love you! You make our world a better place - we need you in this world.
