March 4, 2025 - "You Are You . . . " & an Amazing Person for Sure!

The Dr. Seuss Quote for today is, "You are you. Now, isn't that pleasant?!" Yes, it is pleasant you are "you" and the you you are, is absolutely amazing! It can be all too easy to see ourselves through the eyes of others - particularly if these others are saying negative things about us, but the truth is we are all amazing and unique in our own special ways - and I wouldn't have it any other way! This amazing uniqueness is what makes our world more interesting and wonderful and, as Dr. Seuss says, "pleasant"!

• To be unique means to be a rare and precious gem in a sea of sameness.

• It is a reminder of how we are all different, and our differences are what make us beautiful.
• Every person has their own unique, creative gifts which are influenced by their own vision of what beauty is.
• Embracing our differences means accepting ourselves and others for who we are, without judgment or prejudice. It means recognizing diversity is not a weakness, but a strength.

You absolutely are you and this is pleasant and wonderful! I hope you take these words to heart. Here is my virtual "hug" for today -You matter. You deserve to be loved and are loved - I love you! You make our world a better place - we need you in this world. I hope you have people around you who tell you these things, but if not, please let me be someone who does.
